INTRODUCING HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is a relaxed, hyper-suggestible state like meditation or day dreaming or even watching television.  It is a state in which the conscious mind rests and suggestions can be made directly to the subconscious mind to better your health and well being - physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

The conscious mind is the director and decision maker.  The subconscious mind is the memory bank, the controller and regulator of involuntary body functions,  the seat of the emotions and the home of the imagination.  It controls your habits, and is the dynamo that directs your energy to create the goals you set for yourself.

When the conscious mind is at rest, the subconscious mind is able to accept new suggestions that are within the boundaries of your belief system and moral orientation.

YOU control hypnosis and YOU decide what YOU want to achieve.

Almost anyone with normal intelligence can be hypnotized if they are willing and not resistive.

The more often you practice self hypnosis and the post-hypnotic suggestions given during your sessions, the more positive, rapid, profound and permanent will be your results.

Hypnosis is a valuable therapeutic tool and was declared helpful and safe by both the American and British Medical Associations in 1958.

Colorado is one of the states in which the practice of hypnotherapy is regulated ~ both through the Colorado State Mental Health Act and the Colorado State Nurse Practice Act.
